Sausage Gravy for Biscuits

1 pound bulk sausage you can use any flavor that you like
3 cups milk
1/3 cup flour
pepper to taste

1.Cook the sausage in a saucepan over medium-high heat until evenly cooked. And whatever you do, DON'T DRAIN THE FAT! You'll need it to make a roux to thicken the gravy.
2.After the sausage is cooked, dump in 1/3 cup flour...
3 .Mix it up until the sausage is evenly coated.
4.Add 3 cups of milk to the sausage/flour mix.Once you've mixed in your milk, add pepper to taste we like alot and used about a tsp.
5.Continue to cook over medium-high heat until a few bubbles begin to show up. Then reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally, until your gravy is thick.

  * I got this recipe form littleloveydoves we all liked the gravy but it is very rich and a little goes a long way lol but it had great flavor. I just made a basic drop biscuit recipe to add this to but you can use any biscuits that you like.
